What’s going on in the Aegean?

What’s going on in the Aegean?

For the first time in Turkey, we are talking about the phenomenon of ‘reverse migration’. The economy, politics, and the pandemic’s migration from big cities to the countryside, and participation in culture in different regions and cities that have been ignored for a long time are also part of these conversations. In the panel titled ‘What’s going on in the Aegean?’, we will look at the transformation in different parts of the region from a higher scale, discuss the phenomenon of cultural migration, and capture the projections in different cities and neighborhoods with participants from different cities of the Aegean Region such as İzmir, Muğla, Çanakkale and Balıkesir. The panel will be moderated by Ayşegül Kurtel from the K2 Contemporary Art Center and İzmir Akdeniz Biennial, Cemre Ceren Asarlı from Komünite Bodrum, Seyhan Boztepe from Çanakkale Biennial, Nazey Erdilek from Originn, Günseli Baki from Odeon and Simay Dinç from Kıraarthane will take place as speakers.🌊
