When was the last time you listened to the moment without doing anything? Did you catch the new sounds created by the intermingling of the sounds of nature and people? So, have you witnessed the song or cacophony emerging from these sounds? In the walk titled ‘Sound Anatomy of an Island’ with cultural manager, sound designer and urban researcher Dr. Oğuz Öner, we will consider the sounds of Bozcaada with approaches such as nature, people, other living things, rural life, ‘island-city’, we will create our own compositions from the sounds, and we will have the chance to share the experience of our walk with the whole world. Join us to listen to the island. *To participate in the event, it is necessary to come with devices using iOS operating system (iPhone, iPad), to have the latest version of GarageBand application installed on the devices, to have headphones with microphone feature that can be connected to your device (EarPod, AirPod or other), and to have sufficient memory for sound recording and composition on your device.
