Designed to bring together institutions and communities with common values, KEŞİF is a creative space where different disciplines and voices ask questions together, aiming to develop programs and projects with sustainable communities loaded with the energy of “exploration”.

Since 2017, the Bozcaada Jazz Festival has called the inspiring landscapes of Bozcaada it’s home. Being more than just a jazz festival, it offers immersive experiences through it’s unique KEŞİF program. As a founding member of the Turkey Jazz Network, which took root in 2020, and a member of the Europe Jazz Network since 2019, the festival has established itself as a significant contributor to the international jazz community. Additionally, it has recently joined to Keychange, which is a global movement dedicated to achieving gender equality and reforming the music industry.
The festival brings together national and international jazz artists, spanning different generations and genres, to its stage where jazz and improvised music intertwine. In addition to its captivating performances, the Bozcaada Jazz Festival features numerous activities and discussions centered around advocacy; topics vary from gender equality, ecological transformation, to accessibility. These outputs are part of the festival’s exciting KEŞİF program.
Each year, the program revolves around a different theme, and this year’s theme is ‘Play’. Over the course of three days, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by renowned musicians as well as explore new talents in the current music world. Through activities such as workshops, panels, discussions, walks, tastings, and trips, all designed around the theme of play, participants will unleash their creative potential and immerse themselves in a vibrant and engaging experience.
